Never thought we'd generate so much conversation about some rocks

Jesus Christ alowe, they're not rocks. They're minerals

5 schmuckers for the completely on-point Breaking Bad reference. ;)

In the first, Wanda is on the right, and Claud is on the left, and there are NO CABLES. In the second, both Wanda and Claud are in unknown locations, but there ARE cables. Which means, Ivan might be trying to dig CLAUD out, rather than Wanda!

I had noticed it allready before i clipped the image.

But i'm not sure that they'd get that in depth with the art. So i didn't mention it.

Didn't Buck or one of the other Dirtamancers mention that the tunnel had been lad in rock (or minerals...). I think the initial absence of the cables could be due to their being behind the rock cladding. Buck then used his Dirtamancy to cause a cave-in made of the very substance used to line the tunnel (it's be easier to work with than bedrock, after all).

So, in the earlier panel the tunnel walls were clad with stone.
After the cave in there's no more stone cladding, so the cables and bedrock of the original tunnel are now exposed.

That's my two smuckers, at any rate.

If Parson decrypts Wanda, and he looks like a taller version of Clay Dice, do you suppose she will fall in love with him?

but... but... if wanda gets decrypted she would be no longer a possible love candidate for parson

Yeah, I don't think he's her type anyways.

Didn't Wanda have a fling with a man, before Jillian? I think she plays for all the teams.

She slept with Stanley purely as a means to control him but other than that nothing springs to mind. Maybe you're thinking about her creepy attachment to her brother's corpse but I mean, croakamancer gonna croakamancer. I think that was more about mild PTSD and a refusal to let go being enabled by her dark powers than it was anything sexual.

Jillian though, she's definitely all over the field.

Playing for all the teams you say? Let's see, there's Goodminton, Haffaton, Faq, Gobwin Knob. And page 260 demonstrates that she is at least Charlescomm-Curious. She truly does play for all the teams.

Just about the only team she hasn't played for is Jetstone's (then again, with her freeing a certain barbarian prisoner to go and croak a bunch of Stanley's dwagons, it's kinda debatable on Stanley's end back then).

I think they are thinking of Clay Dice saying he was in love with her. She didn't reciprocate though.
I was thinking of something from Book 0, but it has been so long since I read it that I can't remember the names or any other details. And then I couldn't find it on her wiki page. My apologies if I mistook an unrequited love from Clay Dice for a consummated fling.
Just had the thought that of the four temples we've met so far, two of them speak in contemporary Language, and two speak with language not recognized by Erflings or Parson. HueHue and Jed are one the side of the protagonists, and Templeton and Shirley are not. Don't know what to read into that, but there it is.
I think it's just coincidence that the Temples of GK and TV are the ones using "exotic" language augmentations. If we could see & hear more of the Temples, I bet we'd find a great number of "exotics".
