Eclison,
Predictomancy is not all self fulfilling. We saw used to defend Goodminton by increasing tower spell accuracy. Predicting if your scroll will hit before you cast so you can save them for guaranteed hits. It's probably more useful the closer in time the event being predicted is. Kind of like a "spidey sense".
The problem with bigger predictions are with interpretation. Homekey tried to fulfil their own prediction in a way they could control, but fate already had it in for them to lose no matter the nature in which they were attacked.

I'd be interested in seeing a predictomancer + carneymancer link up.

Well, remember he was a Garrison Unit, until he promoted himself - then the stairs got easier. Plus, he was unable to fly on the Dwagons. could that mean he's Heavy? But just because he may interact with the world in the same way as Erflings (ie hex borders, turns, meals popping, cleansing) it doesn't mean that he uses the same set of tools to interact with it.

That was pretty much my point. That just because some erfworlder can do something doesn't mean Parson can.

Wow, boy, do I feel stupid now... :D
Time to get the cigarettes, cardboard box, ten varieties of guns, power-ups, and rock music. Let's do this shit. TIME TO RIP AND TEAR!

Dat-a-mancy?

Err, date-a-mancy. Grand Abbey Janis's original discipline. Sorry about that. I don't use the wiki for speeling mistakces.

This explains why they aren't often called Datas, actually.

TheCommander are you Hunter S Thompson?
Those who don't get Metal Gear or Doom Guy references get bludgeoned to death despite the fact that never played Metal Gear or Doom nor read the Doom Guy comic book and I'm totally being an Americanized weeaboo. Hooray pop-cultural osmosis.
I accept you can try to bludgeon me to death if it means the part of my brain filled with Hunter S Thompson knowledge isn't replaced with Doom Guy knowledge. I mean, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas gives me more amusement than any 5 memes!
Fair enough.
Wow, the new art is just night and day better... if you flip back a few pages, then flip forward to the new art... I didn't mind David Hahn but, this is, by far, the best version of art in the book, including when Xin did it all herself.

This art is somewhat better than some of the best comic books and graphic novels I've ever seen.

This may have already been discussed, but, the Erf-team almost has to be thinking about replacing the first half of this book so all the art matches? It has to at least have been a consideration, even if it won't happen.
I still can't get over how amazing the layout is on this page. The expression of movement is just incredible.
