Just posted a bet in the betting thread. The Charlie we are seeing and hearing about in updates 88 and 92 is not a dupe. 20q. Come at me suckers.

Could be that she's seeing the image of Parson or herself enacting the torture. Good way to turn units with Carneymancy.

I was wondering this myself. The silhouette is more than a little Parson-shaped, IMHO.

That's basically what I was implying. Of course there is the theory out there that there is some time travel type stuff going on and Charlie is really and older and more experienced Parson. That's seems a bit far stretched though. And it disagrees with statements that Charlie is an Erfling.

But if he has taken the form of Parson? That seems more reasonable, especially in Thinkspace.
I just realized maggie + wanda + archon + charlie =4

If they add in another caster thats 5.

But links of more than 3 people are dangerous.
Even the deal of a lifetime was just 3 people. If they go for it wont everyone just croak? Including charlie i mean. That would be a pretty crappy way to fulfill a prophecy.

There is a difference between being in Thinkspace, and being linked. None of them are currently linked.

So it's been mentioned that something *other* than the torture/mindscrew that Charlie is doing is the cause of Wanda's distress.

Unless the idea is supposed to be that this is such an unspeakable act of horror that it bothers even her.

I dont know if Ill be able to explain my idea very well, english not being my native languaje, but I will try anyway:

What if Charlie is trying to destroy Lillith's Jester? Maybe every unit has a Jester, not only the Fated ones. If that is the case, Charlie rutinary would mindrape all his archons when popped, destroying their Jesters and perhaps linking them to the Arkendish. But Lillith has been decrypted (popped again, in a sense) and she has her Jester again (and she cannot sense the Arkendish, as noted by the other Archons).

If that is the case, the very first thing Charlie would do is to destroy -again- Lillith's Jester. This would disturb Wanda core belief greatly, I think...

Edit: Also, Charlie would not need a Healomancer to link with because he is not going to heal anything.

That's super interesting, that every unit may have a jester. I loved the jester character.

What they need for a 3rd caster linked with Maggie is a shockamancer. Blast that mutha in his big mouth.
In the light of last page, Am I the only one thinking Wanda's rage and horror might stem from seeing Charlie actually defile Croakamancy?

Do you think this is what we/Wanda saw?

Very plausible. Im not sure about Wanda's feelings about Croakamancy. If she os a believer on the "sanctity" of Croakamancy, seeing Charlie defiling her discipline would be very disturbing.
