Seems to work that way in the real world, after all. I had a colleague that drank himself to death six months after he was fired from the job.

Completely off-topic, but there is a certain irony in your post in combination with your avatar.
I find it interesting that they plan to leave the ICFYS portal till last. That suggests they have no reason to believe that Wanda will be heading there, despite the aid of the gopher and his pet human. So... where is she going? The prediction may only apply to the above ground portals... but her dirtamancer is out of juice, or nearly so. There are at least two portals in the bedrock available for use. Given the existence of the treaty, maybe she'll give the other one a try?

Then again, perhaps she intends to wait until next Gobwin Knob's next turn? Hamster's orders, if she receives them, are impossible to carry out this turn after all.
C'mon it's obvious!

Jed will give Maggie some juice via link powered by Sizemore and Ace. In Transylvito will then be a linkup between Maggie Vanna and Benny, in which Turnamancy, Moneymancy and Thinkamancy will use shmuckers and to replenish the juice of the caster party. After that Wanda will enter the portal to Jetsstone. That way Tramennis will be reinvolved in the story, the high pacing of story progression will decrease a bit and the linear plot gets a twist :p
I think it's a bit early to say they're impossible to carry out this turn, even absent hyperbolic thinking. It is interesting to note that there was minecart track laid right next to CC's portal and bending away from it, which is suggestive. One thing it suggests is that Ivan has experimented on CC's column before, it might be the one that he previously broke (or that might have been the CC capital site portal). But another thing is that the track goes out of it's way to approach the column, so possibly there are contingency plans for accessing other columns at need. Ivan might not have to do any really serious digging to get at GK's Spacerock portal column. We don't know exactly how those portal shards affect the way a portal receives, we just have a fair confidence that they can be used to leave the MK intact (or that wouldn't have been much of an extraction plan Charlie was giving Ivan and Claud).

Ivan's "squideon of juice left" might mean anything less than a third. It could even mean "not enough more than a third left to go above ground and have any useful tricks available", there's a certain elasticity, but I'd guess less than a third makes sense (we know Ivan used a third+ getting out of the Dirtamansion himself, then another third+ getting Wanda, and he hasn't been seeing any starts of turn since then, so unless decryption restores juice he's got less than a third left). We don't know how much it takes to break one of those portal collars, but digging around seems to be something Dirtamancers can do without using too much juice.
Given how I can't find "Squidgeon"'s definition on Google, it could be caster-code to mean something like "I want to say 'I'm almost out' but I've really got some more if I need it".

I imagine it's derived from "smidgeon"

I'd go with <10%, or non mathematically; "as much as PLOT requires"

Perhaps "ONLY as much as the plot requires"
Hilariously, Ivan now asserts he has enough to break the collar, but will the plot go in that direction? Stay tuned for exciting developments!

I like that they finally made a reference to Jojo being a dog face. Since he is based on Jojo the dog man and all that.

Really? I thought that was a reference to Jojo being a barker!
