So, yea, I was thinking the other day that Parson's reason for being able to use the portals as well as the scroll of GTFO was either the Stupidworlder status or he was a genuine caster of some kind.

Accord to Charlie's technical report the scroll of GTFO has two components: Weirdomancy (in its role as "the magic of modifying other magicks") unravels the summoning spell, while the Carnymancy component enables the scroll to be used by a non-caster such as Parson.
Hey, when did this page get updated to show to powerballs in the final illustration?

I'm guessing sometime after page 230 was uploaded. Can't be more specific considering that the wiki still has the original image.
A Retconjurer did it

You think English spelling now is bad? Try reading a non-standardized copy of 'The Green Knight'. It was written in an era before standardized spelling (basically, everyone spelled words however the boop they wanted to) and, despite being an interesting tale, is almost physically painful to read as a result.

True. But the people that standardized it were wack jobs who didn't think literacy was for the commoner. They often combined Latin spellings with English pronunciations, giving us awful spellings like "receipt". I love Spanish for it's phonics system, you pronounce most every Spanish word like it's spelled.

The "i before e" rule is handy as it applies to many common words, but it definitely fails at being a rule.

Create illusion of veiled army of uncroaked hiding offshore. Do this by pretending to have their veil 'fail' from time to time. Get the lookamancers trying to see through a veil that isn't there at an army that isn't there.

I'm not 100% that foolamancy works like that. It's easier to distort and hide things people expect to see than to create something new out of nowhere. Jack can create more dwagons appear overhead or even change their color, but not if there wasn't any up there already.
Tsk Tsk Mags. Comp was out for a few days, and I'm just catching up. Saying that your intuitions match that way, and talking of talking of(fight club)..I mean thinkamancy secrets. Parson is smart enough to realize how she said that, and know, wait Know that she used her craft to glean that info.
Anyone else noticed that this is the first time Parson cursed using an Earth word? He said "Shit." I thought you couldn't used Earth expletives in Erfworld... simple author mistake or a sign of something bigger?
Naw, Parson broke the boop filter back at the end of Book 1.

I remember it very distinctly.

I swear we get these posts literally every time Parson says a naughty word.

The last strip before the comic left the GiantITP website. I wonder if the departure was related, actually... OotS doesn't have any swearing.
