The ruler can send orders across hexes like that. The Chief Warlord cannot. That's why they're contacting Stanley.

Also, no need to sign your posts. We can see who you are on the left.

Has it occurred to you that Lilith is very far away, and Parson can't yell that loud.
In order to order someone you must have some method of communication, be it thinkamancy, hat-magic or dwagon relay. You can't exactly waggle your eyebrows at someone ifneither of you have any line of sight.

Lilith got some serious retconjuration applied to her between editions. (Judaism---> Christianity)

Lilith doesn't exist in Christian folklore (unless some very small and weird Christian church decided otherwise). I was talking about data from Judaism.

I don't remember that coming up. Still, the order for Stanly should be "order Lilith not to kill any Charlscom units", not "disband Lilith".

Also, sorry that my usual writing style gave you offence.
I thought chief warlords could give orders across hexes, but only rulers could disband units.
The issue I was reading here is that you can only give orders to units that have the commander special, or that you are stacked with?

But killing(disbanding) Lilith would prevent Charlie from getting whatever it is that he wanted with Lilith, seeing as she is in the middle of Charlescomm territory. I imagine Parson/Jack believe the best recourse is to remove Lilith from the picture altogether, since it both removes her from Charlie and stops her from destroying the side.

After all, Parson has no reason to believe she has modern weaponry in her hands, Wanda hasn't said anything, and who knows if Maggie will make it through the turn? I don't think Lilith has a chance of making it out of Charlescomm at all at this point, since I'm willing to bet that Charlie would be willing to spend 5 million at this point to keep his secrets safe.

Lilith dying at this point is probably the best strategic thing for GK at this point. If they could make it where Charlie killed her, great. But they literally can't afford to take that risk at this point.

They've managed to make us care about Lilith... now it's time to take her away to make us sad.
Isn't Caesar the only character who survived (for now) having an inner monolouge about his motivations?
Didn't go well for Sylvia, Ossomer, Wrigley, Slately, Rachel.
Bodes poorly for Lillith.

Janis is fine, and she got a POV update. Maggie has had a couple, and she lives for the time being. Isaac had a POV update on his playground. Stanley had his realization that he liked Parson. Ace croaked but came back.

I don't think it's a good indication one way or the other.
If the treasury "halved twice" to 500k, and then went down another 500k when Lilith killed again (and Stanley later yells that he lost 2 Million), doesn't that imply Lilith killed or wounded four units, not three?
Three units.
The treasury was at 2.352.000.
1st kill: 2.352.000 / 2 =1.176.000
2nd kill:1.176.000 / 2 = 588.000
3rd kill:588.000 - 500.000 = 88.000

net loss: 2.264.000
